GiroDisc Brake Rotors & Parts

The best GiroDisc brake parts for your car are its two-piece slotted rotors for repeated hard braking, with titanium pad shields to manage heat at the caliper. This collection centers on Subaru and Toyota performance applications, including the 2018-2021 STI, the 2024-2025 WRX TR, the 2008-2017 STI, the 2020 WRX with Brembo calipers, and the 2023 and newer GR Corolla, so check your year and model first.

Rotors are where braking heat builds up. A slotted face helps clear the pad surface under hard use, and a two-piece design pairs a friction ring with a separate center hat, a layout track and fast-road drivers choose when stock one-piece rotors run hot or wear unevenly. Pad shields sit between the pad and the caliper pistons to limit heat transfer into the caliper and brake fluid. Pair rotors with the right pads from the wider Brakes range, and always replace rotors in axle pairs.

GiroDisc is the only brand in this collection, a brake specialist focused on two-piece rotors for performance cars rather than general replacement parts. Its listings here are slotted front and rear rotors sold as pairs for specific STI, WRX, and GR Corolla applications, plus titanium pad shields for the 2020 WRX with Brembo calipers. That narrow focus is the point: each rotor is an application-specific upgrade for a car that already has strong factory calipers.

Start with the GiroDisc two-piece slotted front rotors for the 2018-2021 STI and 2024-2025 WRX TR, the slotted rear rotors for the 2023 and newer GR Corolla, or the front titanium pad shields for the 2020 WRX with Brembo calipers. Note the matching rear rotor listing for the 2018-2021 STI states that trimmed rear pads are required, so read the individual product notes carefully before ordering.

For the rest of a brake build, Brembo is the caliper and pad name most shoppers here already know, supplying the factory calipers referenced on the 2020 WRX Performance Package listings and a wide range of performance pads and kits. EBC Brakes is a broad pad and rotor alternative known for street and fast-road compounds in several grades, while complete Big Brake Kits suit cars that need larger calipers as well as rotors. Our guide to the best brake pads for the Subaru WRX helps match pads to these rotors.

Will GiroDisc rotors fit my car?

Fitment is specific here, such as 2018-2021 STI, 2024-2025 WRX TR, or 2023 and newer GR Corolla. Check your year and model, and front or rear position, before ordering.

Are GiroDisc rotors sold as pairs?

The front and rear rotor listings in this collection are sold as pairs for one axle. Order the front pair, the rear pair, or both, and replace pads at the same time for an even bedding surface.

What do titanium pad shields do?

They sit behind the brake pad to reduce heat reaching the caliper pistons and brake fluid during hard braking. The shields here fit the 2020 WRX with Brembo calipers and the Performance Package.

Do I need special pads with these rotors?

Usually standard-shape performance pads suit, but one rear listing here notes that trimmed rear pads are required. Check the individual product title and notes, and follow the bedding procedure for your pad compound.
