2017+ Civic Si SEDAN Catback Exhaust Systems by MAPerformance
Modern Automotive Performance is no stranger to designing high performance exhausts for modern turbocharged vehicles, but for the 2017+ Civic Si, we decided to go straight to the owners to determine what they wanted most in an exhaust solution:
Performance:
Owners demand performance and performance is enhanced by decreasing the energy and effort that is required for exhaust gasses to pass through a system. To reduce restrictions, we used 3" inch diameter stainless steel tubing and meticulously designed the system with smooth, mandrel bent routing. We also designed the long legs of the mid pipe on our CNC mandrel bender to minimize the amount of sections that had to be welded together, further decreasing areas which might create flow robbing turbulence.
Another Unique feature with our system is the ability to eliminate the factory 3 Bolt connections on the front of the catback and the rear of the front pipe. We offer the "œFor use with MAP Front Pipe" option that connects to the front of the midpipe section via V-Band, and then goes to the V-Band connection out the MAP Civic X front pipe, offering the least restrictive catback on the market for the Civic X 1.5T
Quality:
What you can control, in house, ultimately dictates the quality of the final product. Few other companies use in-house mandrel bent stainless steel tubing, but we do. Even though our state of the art mandrel bender is CNC programmed, we even go a step further to measure the accuracy of each bend upon completion. From there, we carefully mock up our exhausts on our custom-built in-house jigs to ensure the most accurate fitment possible. Next, our expert fabricators TIG weld each flange and joint with their superior back-purging techniques to ensure each weld lasts as long as the life of the car, while never leaking. Finally, each weld is inspected for imperfections before being sent off to our shipping department for shipment around the globe!
Made from high quality 304 Stainless Steel our 10th Gen Civic X 1.5T catback is a rare find. Most exhaust systems on the market are made from an inferior 409 Stainless and are prone to surface rust over time. Designed with performance and longevity in mind we're certain anyone in the market for a 10th Gen Civic X 1.5T catback will be extremely pleased with the performance gains and exhaust sound of this system.

When it comes to the 10th Gen Civic X 1.5T catback exhausts, few things matter as much as sound. Other companies design an exhaust for performance and fitment, but the resulting tone simply becomes the result. Here at Modern Automotive Performance, we take care to focus on the little details in order to bring out the best in each and every catback we build.
That's just part of what makes the Modern Automotive Performance 10th Gen Civic X 1.5T Catback special. Of course, the sound it creates is nothing to shy away from either. You'll get an aggressive, throaty roar with the addition of a few extra ponies.
A unique feature of the Modern Automotive Performance 10th Gen Civic X 1.5T Catback, is the offering of Multiple Options when it comes to the sound of our system. Every unit will come with a single resonated mid section, from there we have 3 tip options that are easily switched with a single 3" V-Band connection:
- Street - The addition of a Single Ultra Quiet tip will be our middle of the road design, quiet enough to comfortably take the car on a long road trip, while also producing a more aggressive sound when driving the car the way it's meant to be driven. The Street tip has been our most popular design among Beta testers and Staff alike. Finished with our Quad 3" Tip, this is for those of you looking to get the performance, and up the sound a bit while still keeping the neighborhood happy (For the most part). Eliminating drone at freeway speeds this is the perfect all around catback.
- Race - The tip for someone that wants to be loud and proud of their Civic X 1.5T, A 3" Straight pipe split to our Quad 3" Tips is a sure way to make sure they hear you. This setup will produce the most sound, but surprisingly is for the most part still very driveable day to day, even more so if you have the factory restrictive catalytic converter in place. This tip setup will have slightly more rasp than the other options, but nothing we would consider unbearable.

When cleaning exhaust tip, especially the blue tip variants which are made using a heat treatment process which can be removed with aggressive cleaning agents, make sure to use water and only if necessary, a very gentle soap. Never scrub, or use any rubbing or cleaning compound on these tips as the color will be damaged and will not be warrantied.

Shipping Policy
At JDMuscle, we understand that fast and reliable shipping is crucial. With multiple distribution centers across the nation, most in-stock items are shipped within 1-2 business days. On average, you can expect delivery within 1-5 business days for in-stock items. Please note, however, that some products may ship directly from vendors, which could result in additional delays. Products sourced from overseas may also take longer to arrive.
Free Shipping over $199 Policy
Free shipping is available only for the 48 contiguous states in the U.S.
Ground shipping applies to regular-sized items only.
Oversized items such as lips, hoods, and trunks requiring freight shipping are not included in the free shipping program.

Carriers
We ship via FedEx, UPS, USPS, and DHL. While we strive to use the most efficient option, we cannot guarantee which carrier will deliver your order. Your items may arrive in multiple packages through different carriers.
Processing Time and Shipping Cut-off
Orders typically take 24 hours to process, with shipping cut-off at 3:00 PM EST. Transit times vary based on location and carrier. International and Special Shipping Considerations
International orders are subject to higher shipping fees. If you would like to review your shipping cost, email us at sales@jdmuscleusa.com with your full address and items you plan to purchase.
In some cases, shipping costs may be incorrectly calculated for international or oversized items. We reserve the right to adjust the shipping fee and will work with you to negotiate a fair cost if needed.
Customers can challenge and request a review of international shipping fees, and we’ll do our best to find a lower rate where possible.
Customs Fees & Import Taxes: The shipping charge you pay does not include customs fees or import taxes. These charges vary by country and are the customer’s responsibility. Please check with your local customs office for more details before placing an order.
Shipping Cost Adjustments: Shipping rates fluctuate, and while we strive to provide the most competitive rates, there may be instances where the shipping cost you paid is significantly lower than the actual cost. In such cases, we reserve the right to request the difference to ensure we cover our basic expenses. Address Modifications and Fees
Any modifications to a shipping address after an order is placed may be subject to additional fees.
For single, small packages, the flat fee is $20. For larger or multiple packages, the fee may be up to $60 or more.
Freight Shipping Guidelines
Freight shipments require you to be present at the time of delivery.
The delivery driver may provide a delivery receipt (Bill of Lading). It is crucial to inspect the shipment before signing.
Carefully check the packaging for any visible damage (dents, punctures, rips) and notate it on the Bill of Lading.
Open the package and inspect the product itself. If damage is found, document it in detail on the Bill of Lading, take photos, and contact the shipping company to initiate a damage claim.
Do not refuse the shipment. Contact us at sales@jdmuscleusa.com for guidance.
If the delivery driver is unable to wait for inspection, note this on the Bill of Lading.
Failure to document damages before signing the Bill of Lading will void any claims for refunds or replacements.
Pre-Installation Inspection Policy
We strongly recommend inspecting all parts or items upon arrival before installation. If you identify any damage or imperfections, report them immediately to sales@jdmuscleusa.com. Do not install the item. Please note that reports of damage, defects, or imperfections after installation will not be honored.

JDMuscle LIFETIME LIMITED WARRANTY POLICY
All the non-JDMuscle Branded Products will have the warranty provided by the MFG which varies. We do offer lifetime techinical support for any product related questions.
For JDMuscle/Racing Art Products:
Effective for any JDMuscle product purchased on or after 2024/01/01
JDMuscle warrants its products under this Lifetime Limited Warranty Policy (“Warranty Policy”). This Warranty Policy applies solely to: (i) JDMuscle products purchased directly from JDMuscle or authorized dealers, and (ii) the original purchaser of such JDMuscle products (“Purchaser”). This Warranty Policy is non-transferable, and all claims must be accompanied by the original sales receipt. JDMuscle reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this Warranty Policy at any time without notice.
Warranty Coverage
Under the terms of this Warranty Policy, if it is determined that a JDMuscle product was not manufactured to advertised specifications, JDMuscle will, at its discretion: (i) repair or replace the original product; (ii) replace the original product with the most current available model if the original is no longer available; or (iii) provide a gift card redeemable at jdmuscleusa.com for the amount of the original purchase price of the product.
This Warranty Policy also covers Racing Art products.
For non-JDMuscle branded products purchased through JDMuscle, we offer lifetime technical support in addition to the manufacturer’s warranty.
Lighting and Carbon Fiber Warranty Periods
- Lighting Products: Covered for 2 years from the date of purchase.
- Carbon Fiber Products: Covered for 15 months from the date of purchase.
Submitting a Claim
To submit a warranty claim, the Purchaser must:
- Email sales@jdmuscleusa.com with the claim details.
- Provide the original sales receipt or an authorized dealer order number.
- Include a photo of the product clearly showing the issue.
- If requested, the Purchaser must send the product, with all transportation costs prepaid, to JDMuscle.
Special Conditions for Carbon Fiber Products
- Carbon fiber products must be clear-coated by the customer upon receipt to maintain durability.
- This Warranty Policy covers only cracking caused by the product itself and not due to any impact, neglect, improper care, or use.
- Normal wear and tear, including minor scratches or fading, is not covered under this policy.
- Carbon fiber hoods must be installed with hood pins for safety. JDMuscle will not cover damage resulting from failure to use hood pins.
Warranty Exclusions
This Warranty Policy does not cover:
- Damage due to accidents, neglect, improper installation, or usage.
- Normal wear and tear, including stains, scratches, or other minor cosmetic issues.
- Issues arising from non-compliance with care, use, and installation instructions.
- Any damage to carbon fiber products not related to structural cracking.
- Labor costs for installation or removal of products.
- JDMuscle is not responsible for any other property damage or personal injury related to the use or installation of its products.
General Warranty Guidelines
- All claims must be accompanied by a photo of the product showing the issue.
- Products damaged on arrival (DOA) must be claimed within 7 business days of delivery. Claims outside of this timeframe will not be covered under the lifetime warranty.
- JDMuscle reserves the right to refuse any claim at its discretion.
- Approved claims may result in repair, replacement, or a gift card equivalent to the original purchase price, at JDMuscle’s discretion.
- If a replacement product is out of stock, the customer will be placed on backorder until the product becomes available.
- All historical orders are covered under this Warranty Policy.
Shipping Guidelines
Repaired or replacement products will be shipped to the Purchaser within the continental United States via standard ground service. Expedited shipping and international shipping are available at an additional cost.
Shipping Costs
Shipping fees for repairs or replacements will vary based on the claim as follows:
- Standard Products (non-oversized): $25 if submitted within 90 days, $40 after 90 days.
- Oversized Items (e.g., hoods, large aero parts): $180 if submitted within 90 days, $250 after 90 days.
- Accessories: $15 if submitted within 90 days, $25 after 90 days.
- For claims submitted more than two years after the purchase date, an additional $20 surcharge will apply.
General Disclaimer
THE WARRANTIES SET FORTH HEREIN ARE THE ONLY WARRANTIES MADE BY JDMUSCLE WITH RESPECT TO ITS PRODUCTS. JDMUSCLE DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please send an email to sales@jdmuscleusa.com.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Depending on your method of payment, transaction fees might not be refundable which ranges between 2.3% - 6% of the order value. Note this is charged by a third-party payment provider, not us. You may receive a full refund if you choose to receive a store credit instead.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item not in its original condition/ is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
Some manufacturers would charge a restocking fee ranging from 10% - 30% of the original order value. Below is a list of some but now all of them, please be mindful when placing the order / considering a return:

Cancellation
Please ensure you have contacted us on availability before placing an order. All cancellations could be subject to 2.3% - 6% fee to cover transaction costs charged by third-party payment providers. You have 7 days to cancel an order, once the order has been processed(item packaged/ tracking number has been created), the cancellation will not be allowed but you may contact us for a return request if the item is eligible for return.
Special-ordered items cannot be canceled.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-10 business days(depending on the payment provider). The restocking fee might be applicable as noted in the return section.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
Once you have received an email/text from us stating the refund has been processed, at this stage, it's completely out of our control but depends on the payment providers to decide when the refund will show up in your bank. As noted, depending on the payment provider the process can take up to 10 business days(usually 3-5). If you haven’t received a refund yet, please first check your bank statement. A lot of times instead of a new line showing a reversal charge/credit, the payment would just disappear from your pending section.
Contact your credit card company/financing company you used, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted but reaching out might help expedite the process.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be emailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item unless the item was damaged/wrong/defective in which case we will cover shipping both ways. Initial shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item and take no responsibility for any loss or damage during the return shipping.
And please refer to the return shipping address as provided in the RMA / return instructions. A lot of times the return address can be different than the initial shipping address.
