2008-2012 Honda Accord Mods

The best mods for a 2008-2012 Honda Accord are the practical ones this collection gathers: stainless brake lines and throttle response parts for feel, lowering springs for stance and handling, a replacement ignition coil for the 3.5L V6, and a hood protector that keeps road debris off the paint. Coupe and sedan, four-cylinder and V6 cars are all represented, so check your year and model, engine, and body style before ordering.

This generation of Accord responds well to targeted upgrades rather than a full build. Brake lines firm up the pedal, springs change how the car sits and corners, and small intake-side parts sharpen throttle response. Replacement pieces like ignition coils simply keep a higher-mileage car running as it should. For the broader range, browse the Honda Accord Aftermarket Parts collection alongside this generation-specific page.

aFe Power contributes the Silver Bullet Throttle Body Spacer, listed for the 08-12 Accord alongside the 12 Civic Si and 09-12 Acura TSX. aFe is known for intake-side airflow products, and a spacer is its bolt-on approach here: a simple part that fits between the throttle body and intake. Goodridge supplies the brake hardware, with a G-Stop brake line kit and a separate front brake line set, both listed for the 08-12 Accord; Goodridge built its name on braided brake lines, and lines are a pedal-feel upgrade owners often pair with fresh pads and fluid.

Tein handles the suspension side with S Tech Springs for the CP2 and CP3 Accord. Tein is a suspension specialist, and its S Tech line is the lowering-spring route: a fixed drop on the factory-style setup rather than a full coilover conversion. Mishimoto, best known for cooling but with a growing replacement-parts range, supplies the ignition coil listed for the 08-12 Accord 3.5L, while Husky Liners covers the sedan's front end with a smoke Aeroskin hood protector.

Do these parts fit both the Accord coupe and sedan?

Some do and some do not. The Tein springs list CP2 and CP3 chassis codes and the hood protector is sedan-specific, so check your year and model, body style, and chassis code against the product title.

Will lowering springs work with my factory shocks?

S Tech springs are designed as lowering springs for this Accord generation, but worn high-mileage shocks will limit the result. Inspect the shocks first, and budget for replacements if they are tired.

Do stainless brake lines need anything else?

Lines are usually fitted with fresh brake fluid and a full bleed, and many owners renew pads at the same time. If you are not set up to bleed brakes safely, have a shop do the install.

Is the Mishimoto ignition coil for my engine?

The coil here is listed for the 08-12 Accord 3.5L V6. Four-cylinder cars use different ignition parts, so confirm your engine before ordering.
