1995-1998 Nissan GT-R (R33) Parts

What are the best performance parts for a 1995-1998 Nissan GT-R (R33)? The R33's RB26DETT rewards the same proven formula as its R32 sibling: rock-solid sealing, fueling with real headroom, precise boost control, and tunable cam timing. This collection gathers hardware from the brands the RB scene trusts most — Tomei gaskets, a Radium Engineering fuel rail, Turbosmart wastegate components, GReddy adjustable cam gears, and HKS's legendary Super SQV blow-off valve. These are the parts that keep an RB26 healthy as power rises, whether your BCNR33 is a street car or a track build.

Supporting mods for the R33's RB26

The 1995-1998 GT-R refined the R32 formula with a more settled chassis, but under the hood it is the same RB26DETT — with the same needs when modified. Chasing power without addressing fueling, boost control, and sealing is how engines let go; addressing them first is how RB builds survive. Because the RB26 spanned all three GT-R generations, a lot of engine hardware is shared, which helps parts availability — but some parts are generation-specific, so confirm fitment per listing.

Think in systems: a fuel rail pairs with bigger injectors and a stronger pump, a wastegate pairs with proper boost control, and cam gears only pay off with dyno time. Have a tuner check anything that alters airflow, fueling, or timing.

The brands in this collection

GReddy has been part of the Japanese tuning landscape for decades, with an RB26 catalog that runs deep — the adjustable intake and exhaust cam gears in this collection let a tuner optimize valve timing for the R33's power band. On the boost side, Turbosmart built its name on wastegates, blow-off valves, and boost controllers engineered for sharp, repeatable boost response, like the 14 PSI internal twin-port wastegate kit listed here.

HKS needs little introduction in the GT-R world: the Super SQV sequential blow-off valve is one of the most copied designs in the industry, and the silver-finish RB26DETT kit here is the real thing. Tomei brings the engine-builder's perspective — a Japanese brand steeped in RB26 development, supplying the gaskets and sealing hardware that hold a boosted build together. Fueling is covered by Radium Engineering, whose motorsport-grade fuel system components include the RB26DETT fuel rail in this collection.

FAQs

Are R32 and R34 RB26 parts compatible with the R33?

Often, yes — the RB26DETT was shared across all three generations, so many engine parts interchange. Still, some parts are generation-specific, so confirm the stated fitment covers 1995-1998 before ordering.

What should I upgrade first on a stock R33?

Start with supporting mods: fueling headroom, boost control, and maintenance-grade sealing, plus a health check by a tuner. Power adders come after the foundation is solid.

Vent-to-atmosphere or recirculating blow-off valve?

The HKS Super SQV can be configured either way. On a MAF-metered RB26, recirculating avoids drivability quirks — discuss the right configuration with your tuner.

Do adjustable cam gears require a dyno tune?

Yes — cam gears only work when timing is dialed in under load. Budget for dyno time with a tuner experienced in RB26s.
