Bilstein Shocks & Struts

The best Bilstein shocks and struts for your WRX or STI are the B6 Performance line for stock-height cars and the B8 Performance Plus line for lowered cars. Both use Bilstein's monotube gas-pressure design for sharper response and consistent damping on street and track.

Bilstein builds its reputation on monotube construction: a single tube with a floating piston separating oil and nitrogen gas, which resists fade and reacts faster than twin-tube dampers. The B6 line is a performance replacement aimed at stock ride height - firmer and more controlled than worn factory dampers without demanding a full suspension rethink. The B8 Performance Plus line is valved for lowered applications, pairing with performance springs for a tight, composed setup. Individual corner strut assemblies and complete kits are both listed here, so you can replace one worn corner or the whole set.

Popular picks in this collection include the Bilstein B6 Performance Shocks and Struts Kit for 15-21 WRX/STI, the Bilstein B8 Performance Plus Kit, and the Bilstein B6 Front Left Monotube Strut Assembly. B6 or B8 - which do I need?

B6 is the pick for stock ride height; B8 is valved for cars running lowering springs. Check your year and model against each listing's fitment before ordering.

Do Bilstein struts require a tune?

No. Dampers don't affect engine parameters, so no tune is required - though an alignment is strongly recommended after any strut install.

Can I replace just one worn strut?

Yes - individual front-left, front-right, and rear assemblies are listed separately in this collection.

Are these hard to install?

Strut replacement is a moderate DIY job: spring compression and an alignment afterwards are the main requirements. A shop can typically complete a full set in a few hours.
