2022+ Subaru WRX Clutches

The best clutch upgrades for a 2022+ Subaru WRX (VB) depend on your power goals: for a stock or lightly bolted car, clutch delay valve deletes and stainless steel clutch lines from Perrin sharpen pedal feel without touching the clutch itself, while higher-power cars need a full clutch kit like an ACT heavy-duty street setup with a matching flywheel. This collection covers both ends of that spectrum, with clutch kits, clutch delay valve deletes, stainless clutch lines, and forged clutch forks built around the VB chassis.

Clutch parts do two different jobs. Hard parts like clutch discs, pressure plates, and flywheels determine how much torque the car can put down — once you add a bigger turbo, E85, or aggressive tuning, the stock clutch becomes the weak link. Feel parts like the clutch delay valve delete, stainless clutch line, and forged clutch fork determine how the pedal behaves — removing the factory restrictor gives a more direct engagement point.

Perrin is one of the most visible names in this collection, and for good reason: the Oregon-based company has built its reputation on Subaru-specific refinement parts, and its clutch delay valve delete and stainless steel clutch line are among the most popular feel mods for the WRX platform. The ACT brand collection anchors the power-handling side of the lineup — ACT clutch kits are a longtime staple of the Subaru community, with heavy-duty street options designed to hold increased torque while staying drivable day to day. Overtake focuses on affordable, well-engineered Subaru upgrades, and its clutch delay valve delete is another proven option for cleaning up pedal feel. Verus Engineering takes a motorsport-driven approach to chassis and drivetrain parts, and its forged clutch fork replaces a known weak point in the clutch linkage with a stronger piece.

Do I need a tune after a clutch upgrade?

No — clutch kits, delay valve deletes, clutch lines, and clutch forks are mechanical parts that don't require an ECU tune. The car's tune stays the same; only the way power reaches the wheels changes.

How hard is a clutch install on a 2022+ WRX?

Replacing a full clutch kit requires dropping the transmission, so it's a job for a shop or an experienced DIYer with a lift. Clutch delay valve deletes and stainless clutch lines are much simpler bolt-on jobs that can be done in a driveway with basic tools and a clutch bleed.

Will these fit my 2022+ WRX?

Many parts here are listed for multiple WRX generations — check your year and model on each product page before ordering, since some kits cover a range like 2006-2026 WRX while others are VB-specific.

Will an aftermarket clutch affect my warranty?

A clutch is a wear item and a modified clutch can give a dealer grounds to deny drivetrain-related warranty claims. Keep your stock parts if warranty coverage matters to you, and check your year and model for fitment.
