This Torque Solution counter shift weight for the Mazda Mazdaspeed3 2007-2013 and Mazdaspeed6 2006-2007 was designed to rid your Mazdaspeed of the heavy OEM counter weight. Reducing the weight by more than 75% gives the shifter a direct feel and allows more engine bay room for aftermarket intercoolers that have fitment issues with the stock oversized weight. Paired with the Torque Solution Shortcut Shift Plate system, it gives a more positive and direct feel when shifting gears, and the lightened weight also allows for faster shifts.
