CONFLICT KEPT VERBATIM: the store title, description, tag and fitment bucket all say Mazdaspeed3 2007-2009, but Vivid Racing's page for the same part number 218-4702 lists Mazda 3 (2004-2007), Mazda 5 (2006-2007) and Mazda 6 (2003-2007) with the 2.3L DOHC engine — the legacy Mazdaspeed3 fitment was bracketed mechanically only and was NOT changed; the conflict is flagged for Leo/Bryce.

Description

The ARP Head Stud Kit (part 218-4702) is a cylinder head stud kit for the 2007-2009 Mazdaspeed3. ARP manufactures these studs from a premium grade 8740 alloy that is rated far superior to aircraft quality. The alloy is heat-treated to 190,000 psi for complete heat penetration, and following heat-treat each stud is centerless ground to make it as close to perfectly concentric as possible. Because ARP studs are manufactured to such exacting tolerances, gaskets and cylinder heads glide into position and are perfectly aligned during assembly.
