Sparco

The best racing seat setup for your WRX is one that fits your chassis and your seat — and Sparco is the benchmark name in motorsport seating. Sparco builds FIA-homologated racing seats, harnesses, seat bases, and track hardware trusted everywhere from club track days to top-level racing. This collection covers the pieces that mount the seat to the car — vehicle-specific seat bases, seat tracks, and street harnesses — so you can check your year and model and build a proper driving position.

A seat is only as good as its mounting. Sparco seat bases bolt to your factory floor mounting points and position the seat at the right height and angle, while seat tracks add fore-aft adjustability for shared or daily-driven cars. Street bolt-in harnesses like the 4-point units here work with factory belt anchors on many cars for track days without a roll bar — check your sanctioning body's rules before hitting the track.

Complete your cockpit with Auto Interior parts, a Steering Wheels upgrade, and Shift Knobs for the full driver-focused setup. Popular Sparco picks include the Sparco Driver Side Seat Base for 15-21 WRX/STI and the matching Passenger Side Seat Base, the Sparco Street Bolt-In 4-Point Harness, and the Sparco Seat Track Set. Do Sparco seat bases fit my car?

Seat bases are vehicle-specific — the ones in this collection include bases for the 15-21 WRX and STI, the 92-95 Honda Civic, and the 90-99 Toyota MR2, plus universal track sets. Always confirm your year and model on the product page.

Is a harness safe for street use?

Street bolt-in harnesses are designed to work with factory anchors, but rules vary: some track organizations restrict harness use without a roll bar or proper harness bar. Check your event's rulebook before buying.

How hard is it to install a seat base?

Seat base installs are bolt-on work with basic hand tools — unbolt the factory seat, bolt the base to the floor, and mount the seat to the base. Torque specs and any airbag-light considerations are covered on the product page for the listed applications.

Do I need a tune after changing seats or harnesses?

No. Seating and harness upgrades do not touch engine management, so no tune is required — just proper mounting and torque.
