JDMuscle Carbon Fiber Side Skirts

The best carbon fiber side skirts for a Subaru WRX or WRX STI are generation-specific panels that follow the factory rocker line, and this JDMuscle collection covers three generations in one place. It includes CS Style and OEM STI Style skirts for the 2015-2021 WRX and STI, a Spec CS skirt for the 2008-2014 WRX and STI, and a Spec STI OEM Style skirt for the 2022-2026 WRX. Choose by your chassis years first, then by style, and check your year and model before ordering.

Side skirts run along the rocker panels between the wheels. Visually, they lower the side profile and tie a front lip and rear diffuser into one continuous line. In carbon fiber, they replace or overlay the lower trim with a lighter panel whose woven finish matches other carbon parts. Style names describe the shape: OEM STI Style follows the factory STI trim for a subtle result, while CS Style and the VS and VR2 Style variants for the 2015-2021 cars use more pronounced profiles. One VR2 listing is marked Special Order, so allow for the lead time on that product page.

JDMuscle is the house brand behind every skirt in this collection, sold under its Tanso carbon fiber line. The range shows a Subaru-first focus: the CS Style skirt for the 2015-2021 WRX and STI and the Spec STI OEM Style skirt for the 2022-2026 WRX keep the same two design languages, motorsport-inspired CS and factory-style OEM STI, available across successive WRX generations. JDMuscle also still supports the older chassis, with a Spec CS skirt for the 2008-2014 WRX and STI that many larger brands have dropped. Within the 2015-2021 range alone, the CS, OEM STI, VS, and VR2 styles give owners four distinct side profiles for the same car. That depth per chassis, rather than a single universal design, is what the Tanso line is known for in this category.

Build a matched exterior around the skirts with Exterior Trim, the wider Aero range, Carbon Fiber Fenders, and carbon Hoods. For ideas on completing the look, read Carbon Fiber Upgrades for Your Subaru.

Do these side skirts fit both the WRX and the WRX STI?

Most listings here name both models for a given generation, such as 2015-2021 WRX and STI or 2008-2014 WRX and STI, because those cars share rocker dimensions within a generation. The 2022-2026 skirt is listed for the WRX only. Check your year and model against the title.

What is the difference between CS Style and OEM STI Style?

OEM STI Style follows the shape of the factory STI side skirt for a subtle upgrade in carbon fiber. CS Style uses a more pronounced, motorsport-inspired profile that sits lower and reads more aggressive from the side.

Is installation difficult?

Side skirts typically attach along the rocker using factory mounting points, clips, or hardware, with the car raised for access. Steps vary by style, so follow the product guidance and consider professional fitting for special-order panels.

What does Special Order mean on the VR2 skirt?

The VR2 Style listing for the 2015-2021 WRX and STI is marked Special Order in its title. That means it is not a regular stock item and lead time applies. Check the product page for the current ordering terms before purchasing.
