Carbon Fiber Fenders

The best carbon fiber fenders for a WRX are the ones built for your exact generation. JDMuscle's vented V1 and V2 tanso carbon fenders are designed around the 2015–2021 WRX and WRX STI, and dedicated vented fenders cover the 2022–2026 WRX as well. Vented fenders pull heat out of the engine bay, add room for a wider stance, and give the car an aggressive track-ready look.

Carbon fiber fenders replace the factory steel panels with lighter, stiffer pieces. Most options here come in two construction styles: full carbon fiber for maximum weight savings and show-quality weave, and carbon/FRP blends that keep the same look with a more budget-friendly build. Vented designs add functional louvers behind the front wheels to extract hot air, while VS-style smooth fenders focus purely on clean lines and fitment.

Aftermarket Fenders & Flares cover the full styling range, but JDMuscle is the name you'll see throughout this collection. JDMuscle designs its tanso-line body parts specifically for the WRX and STI community, and the range here shows it: the V1 vented fenders with built-in heat extractors, the V2 tanso carbon/FRP vented fenders in carbon or FRP, and VS-style smooth fenders for a cleaner look. Matching details matter on a carbon build, so JDMuscle also makes tanso carbon fender emblems with STI etching to tie the front end together. Fitments center on the 2015–2021 WRX and STI plus the 2022–2026 WRX, so check your year and model before ordering.

Pair your fenders with the rest of a carbon exterior. The Carbon Fiber Hoods collection keeps hood and fenders in the same finish, the Hood range covers every hood style for the WRX, and the Trunk collection finishes the rear. Popular picks include the JDMuscle V1 Vented Carbon Fiber Fenders for 15–21 WRX/STI, the V2 Carbon/FRP Vented Fenders, and the Tanso Fender Emblem V2 for the finishing touch. Do 2015–2021 WRX fenders fit the 2022+ WRX?

No. The VB-chassis 2022–2026 WRX has different front-end body lines, so fenders are generation-specific. This collection includes dedicated 22–26 options alongside the 15–21 range.

Are vented fenders just for looks?

The vents are functional — they extract hot air from the engine bay and front wheel wells, which helps underhood temperatures on track days. They also read clearly as a track-inspired style upgrade.

How difficult is the install?

Fender replacement is a moderate job: bumper and side skirts come off, factory fenders unbolt, and the carbon pieces bolt on in their place. Most installs take a few hours with basic hand tools; expect minor panel-gap adjustment like any aftermarket body panel.

Carbon fiber or carbon/FRP?

Full carbon fenders are lighter with a premium weave finish. Carbon/FRP blends pair a carbon outer skin with a fiberglass backing for similar looks at a lower price. Both are paintable if you want a color-matched look.
