Go Fast Bits Performance Parts

What is the best Go Fast Bits valve for your car? For a WRX or STI running the factory turbo, the DV+ gives you leak-free boost response while staying quiet and recirculating; for sound and performance, the Hybrid dual-outlet or the adjustable Respons TMS adds the venting the turbocharged Subaru is known for. Match the valve to your model year — 22-26 WRX, 15-21 WRX, or 02-07 WRX and 04-21 STI — and check your year and model before ordering.

What a Diverter Valve Does

When you lift off the throttle at boost, the turbo is still pushing air — a diverter valve (or blow-off valve) releases that excess pressure so it does not surge back into the compressor. Upgraded valves replace the soft factory diaphragm with a rigid piston design that seals harder under boost and opens faster on throttle lift — which is why a valve swap is a common early mod on a tuned turbo car.

Recirculating valves (like the DV+) are silent; vent-to-atmosphere valves release it with the signature hiss; hybrid designs split the difference.

The Brand Behind the Valves

Go Fast Bits is an Australian company that focuses specifically on turbocharger valve technology — diverter valves, blow-off valves, and the hardware around them. The DV+ replaces the failure-prone factory diaphragm and solenoid assembly with a piston-style valve and integrated solenoid (the T9383 is the application for the 22-26 WRX), and the Hybrid dual-outlet design splits venting between recirculation and atmosphere for sound without full-VTA drawbacks.

The Respons TMS line adds adjustment so you can tune how much air vents versus recirculates (T9003 covers 02-07 WRX and 04-21 STI fitments), and the collection also includes the VTA valve for the 23+ GR Corolla and 21+ GR Yaris plus accessories like the whistling trumpet.

Build Around Your Boost

Pair a GFB valve with related boost and intake parts from Turbosmart, GrimmSpeed, and engine dressing. The standouts in this collection: the Go Fast Bits DV+ with Integrated Solenoid for the 22-26 WRX, the Hybrid Dual Outlet Valve for the 15-21 WRX, and the VTA Blow Off Valve for the GR Corolla and GR Yaris. FAQ

Do I need a tune after installing a GFB valve?

A recirculating DV+ typically does not require a tune since it keeps the factory air path. Full VTA valves on MAF-sensor Subarus can cause brief rich conditions between shifts — a hybrid setup avoids most of that, but check your tuner's recommendation if you are already tuned.

What is the difference between the DV+ and the Hybrid valve?

The DV+ is a recirculating performance replacement for the factory valve — quieter and tune-friendly. The Hybrid dual-outlet vents part of the charge to atmosphere for the blow-off sound while recirculating the rest, so it behaves closer to stock on factory sensors.

Will a stronger valve help on a stock car?

On a stock WRX or STI at factory boost, the gains are subtle — mainly sharper throttle response and no leak risk as the stock diaphragm ages. The real payoff comes on tuned cars running higher boost, where the factory valve can start leaking.
