Brendan's VB Build

The best parts for a 2022-2026 Subaru WRX (VB) build are the ones on this page: a curated parts list pairing JDMuscle carbon fiber body pieces and headlights with an ETS cat-back exhaust, Cusco sway bars, Fortune Auto 500 Series coilovers, a GrimmSpeed equal length header, and Gram Lights 57DR wheels. Every performance part here is titled for the 22-26 WRX, so the list works as a starting recipe.

The VB responds to upgrades in a clear order. Breathing parts (exhaust, header, intercooler piping) change how the FA24 turbo engine makes power, chassis parts (coilovers, sway bars, strut bars) change how it corners, and carbon fiber panels and lighting sharpen the look. One coordinated list helps the parts work together.

The visual core comes from the car's own brand. JDMuscle supplies a CS Style V1 front bumper grille in paint matched or gloss black, V1 headlights for Base and Premium trims, a Carbon Fiber Hood V1, and carbon fiber/FRP vented fenders, all titled for 22-26 WRX fitment. JDMuscle's in-house Tanso carbon fiber line is built around Subaru fitments, making these panels the first step for a sharper VB front end.

For exhaust and boost plumbing, Extreme Turbo Systems is the power anchor. ETS is known in the Subaru world for turbo kits, intercoolers, and exhausts engineered around boosted flat-four engines, and this list uses two: the ETS Cat-Back Exhaust for the 22-26 WRX and the ETS front mount intercooler piping kit, covering airflow from the turbo back and toward the intercooler.

Chassis tuning comes from Cusco, the Japanese chassis specialist whose braces, bars, and suspension parts are a staple of Subaru builds. The list runs Cusco bars at both ends — 26mm front and 21mm rear sway bars, both titled for the 22-26 WRX — a pairing aimed at roll balance, not stiffness alone. Ride height and damping come from Fortune Auto: the 500 Series Gen 8 coilover kit for the 2022 WRX, the brand's street-and-occasional-track workhorse line. Seibon adds a carbon fiber trunk lid, and Gram Lights 57DR wheels (18x9.5 +38, 5x114.3) cover wheel fitment. Does every part on this list fit the 2022-2026 WRX?

The performance parts are titled for 22-26 WRX fitment, including headlights for Base and Premium trims. The Gram Lights wheel and Bride seat are universal listings, so check year, model, bolt pattern, and sizing on the product page first.

Do the header and exhaust require a tune?

A cat-back alone is usually a bolt-on change, but a header alters exhaust flow more significantly. Check with your tuner before running the equal length header, and confirm guidance on the product page for your model year.

Can I build this list in stages?

Yes. Most owners start with the cat-back and sway bars, add coilovers next, and finish with carbon panels and wheels. Every item is sold individually, so the build grows one part at a time.

How involved is the coilover install?

The Fortune Auto kit is a direct-fit coilover set for the 2022 WRX, but plan on a professional alignment afterward and basic suspension experience or a shop install. Check your year and model before ordering.
