End links connect your sway bars to the suspension on the 2022-2026 WRX, and the factory links are a known weak point — soft bushings that deflect and, on lowered cars, incorrect geometry that preloads the sway bar unevenly. Upgraded end links are cheap, easy to install, and make your sway bars actually work as designed.
Adjustability is the key feature. Adjustable end links let you set the correct length for your ride height, eliminating preload that causes unpredictable handling and premature bushing wear. If your WRX is lowered at all, adjustable links are effectively mandatory; on stock height they are still an upgrade over the soft factory units.
Look for spherical bearings (heim joints) for maximum precision and zero deflection, or high-durometer polyurethane for a quieter street setup — spherical bearings can transmit more noise. Sealed or serviceable joints last longer in winter climates.
Replace end links in pairs and re-check torque after the first drive. Filter by front or rear position for your 2022-2026 WRX.
If you are installing end links with new sway bars, do the bars first, set the car at ride height on the ground, then adjust the links so the bar arms sit level with zero preload — this is the step most DIY installs skip, and it is the difference between a car that feels balanced and one that feels nervous over bumps.
