Typically the stock fog lights in Subarus are reflector based and use low wattage halogen bulbs. A nice looking black casing with LED technology improves the look and function a lot! These are plug and play and easy to swap out. The current draw isn't high so you don't have to beef up your wiring, and the cutoff is sharp which allows you to point the fog lights straight out - they have adjustment knobs on the back so you can dial in the beams.
