The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat and Housing is a direct-fit racing thermostat and housing for the Nissan GT-R that promotes greater cooling efficiency throughout the engine. It significantly lowers the high engine temperatures produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications, opening at a lower temperature (68 degrees C) than the standard thermostat (82 degrees C) once the engine is fully warmed up, so coolant flows through the engine sooner and cooler engine temperatures are reduced and maintained.
