The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat is a direct-fit racing thermostat for the 2008-2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X that promotes greater cooling efficiency throughout the engine. It significantly lowers the high engine temperatures produced by modified and upgraded turbo applications, opening at a lower temperature (68 degrees C) than the standard thermostat (82 degrees C) once the engine is fully warmed up, so coolant flows through the engine sooner and cooler engine temperatures are reduced and maintained.
