The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat is a direct-replacement racing thermostat for the 2002-2014 Subaru WRX, 2004-2021 Subaru WRX STI, 2005-2009 Subaru Legacy GT, and 2004-2005 and 2009 Subaru Forester XT. Once the engine is fully warmed up, the Mishimoto racing thermostat opens at a lower temperature than standard thermostats, allowing coolant to flow through the engine sooner and reducing and maintaining cooler engine temperatures.
