Description

The ID1700x was developed with Bosch Motorsport to fill the gap between the ID1300x and the ID2000. Its unique magnetic circuit keeps it stable at the high fuel pressures of modern systems, and corrosion-resistant internals make it compatible with all known automotive fuels. This two-injector set is the 60 mm, 11 mm version for the secondary injector positions of the Mazda RX-8 (2003-2011).

  • Nominal flow rate: 1725 cc/min at 3.0 bar (43.5 psi) using Iso Octane at 52 degrees C
  • Maximum differential fuel pressure: 7.0 bar (101.5 psi)
  • Fuel compatibility: methanol / ethanol / all known hydrocarbon fuels
  • Electrical connector: USCAR
  • Application note: this very high flow injector is intended mainly for E85 in boosted engines (or gasoline in extreme-horsepower builds); it delivers clean stoichiometric idle and cruise mixtures on E85, but flawless low-flow gasoline drivability is not its design target
