GSC created this valve line using advanced 3D design and simulation programs to create a stronger, higher flowing valve head design, flow testing prototype valve heads in the specific applications. The manufacturer states that with the materials used there is less valve distortion at the face than the tested designs, allowing better sealing under extreme conditions and more consistent performance through the life of the valve.

• Back cut to reduce valve weight for higher RPM, higher boost pressure and more aggressive cam profiles without increasing valve spring seat pressures
• Micropolished valve stems for less oil retention on the stem and less drag on the stem to guide for a smoother motion
• Modified 21-4N stainless intake valve material
• Valve tips are either hardened or have a stelite wafer tip fused so the tip is within 5 Rockwell C of the rocker or valve tappet for extended life and less wear
• Tip heights adjusted to require less tipping of the valve, for proper valvetrain geometry and reduced install time when setting valve lash
• Keeper groove adjusted to balance intake and exhaust spring pressures, reducing the use of valve spring shims
• Works with an OEM keeper/lock or an upgraded GSC keeper/lock where available; the manufacturer suggests that valve locks not be reused on performance applications
