The DBA 5000 Series T3 brake rotor is a two-piece direct replacement rotor for the 2012 Lotus Exige (front). It combines a high carbon cast iron ring with an aerospace-grade aluminium hat (T6061-T6), fastened with National Aerospace Standards (NAS) bolts, reducing unsprung weight, allowing uniform radial disc expansion and minimising heat transfer from the disc to the hub.
