Description

The Cusco Type-RS limited-slip differential uses precision coil springs set in the pressure plate to absorb initial torque, delivering gentle, progressive engagement with lower chatter and longer clutch-plate life than conventional cone-plate LSDs.

  • 1.5-way engagement: full lock under acceleration, lighter lock-up on deceleration — ideal for road racing, drifting, autocross, and gymkhana
  • Dual-profile pressure ring switches between 1-way/1.5-way, 1-way/2-way, or 1.5-way/2-way via overhaul — no additional components required (2-way setting requires an overhaul)
  • Lower initial torque than conventional cone-plate designs: less power loss, reduced chatter, improved durability, reduced oil-change frequency
