Please Note: Fits 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 and 9 (CT9A). Cusco Japan catalog also lists the JDM Lancer Evolution 7 (CT9A, 2001-2003). Rear trim modification is required for installation. Cusco part number: 564 526 A.

Description

The Cusco Type 40 rear strut bar for the 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 and 9 (CT9A). Rear strut bars tie the rear strut towers together, reducing chassis flex so the rear suspension mounting points stay aligned under hard cornering loads.

Type 40 is Cusco's heavy-duty 40mm aluminum round-shaft design: a hollow polished aluminum center section with high rigidity to withstand competition use, with end plates finished in titanium gray for flawless, application-specific fitment. Installation is easy and all necessary hardware is included.
