The Cusco Type OS 3-point front strut bar with Brake Cylinder Stopper for the 2003-2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 and 9 (CT9A), left-hand-drive models. Strut tower bars tie the front strut towers together, reducing chassis flex so the suspension mounting points stay aligned under hard cornering loads.

Type OS bars use a tubular aluminum oval shaft with a high-polish finish for high rigidity with low weight, and the steel end plates are painted in traditional Cusco blue. The 3-point design triangulates the bar and ties into the firewall for maximum front-end rigidity. Installation is easy and all necessary hardware is included.

This version includes Cusco's Brake Cylinder Stopper (BCS) - a master cylinder brace that prevents the firewall from flexing where the brake master cylinder mounts during hard braking, reducing brake pedal effort and delivering a firmer pedal feel.
