Description

Cometic MLS (Multi-Layer Steel) head gaskets provide maximum sealing performance for today's high output engines and require no sealants. Comprised of multiple embossed layers of stainless steel with Viton rubber coated outer layers, they deliver increased strength, rebound, and corrosion resistance for aluminum heads to aluminum or cast iron blocks.

  • 81mm bore; compressed operating thickness 0.051 in.
  • Fits Honda B16A2, B16A3, B17A1, B18C1, B18C5 engines
  • Outer layers embossed and Viton coated on both sides; uncoated stainless steel center shim layer
  • Withstands shearing force between dissimilar materials; requires less clamp load, creating less bore distortion
