Per APR Performance, Front Wind Splitters combat front end lift to give extra traction and control at the front of the car. By creating a high pressure area on top of the splitter, high pressure airflow is restricted from flowing underneath the car. With lower pressure below the car, lift is reduced and the driver gains extra traction and control.
