Per APR Performance, Front Wind Splitters combat the effects of front-end lift to give extra traction and control at the front of a car. By creating a high-pressure area on top of the splitter, high-pressure airflow is restricted from flowing underneath the car. With lower pressure below the car, lift is reduced and the driver gains extra traction and control.
