Description

The AEM V2 1 Gallon Water/Methanol Injection Kit is a universal boost dependent water/methanol injection system for gasoline engines up to 35 PSI of boost. Water/methanol injection reduces air inlet charge temperatures and suppresses detonation, and this kit uses a boost dependent controller with an on-board MAP sensor.

  • Tank: 1 gallon tank (10 inch x 8.5 inch x 4.25 inch) with integral conductive low-fluid sensor
  • Pump: Internally bypassed 200 PSI water/methanol injection pump with integral hose fittings, EPDM seals and a Santoprene diaphragm
  • Injector: Precision-machined billet-aluminum injector with integral check valve
  • Nozzles: Three interchangeable injector nozzles, 250cc/min, 500 cc/min and 1,000cc/min
  • Tubing: 20 feet of nylon injection tubing included
  • Boost Safe failsafe output is included
  • LED dash light for system status and low fluid warning is included
  • Wiring harness is terminated with a positive-lock connector with color-coded wires

The boost dependent controller has an on-board MAP sensor with large adjustment knobs, an integrated fuse, a covered status light and a test button, and it includes a Boost Safe failsafe output.
