Description

The AEM EV PDU-8 Power Distribution Unit (part number 30-8300) is an eight-channel CAN-driven power distribution unit for electric vehicle conversions, motorsports applications and internal combustion engine applications. It is an expansion device that gives you the power to program and control various switched devices using an AEM ECU or VCU, like high-voltage contactors, cooling fans, headlights, brake lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, fuel pumps, and more. Up to eight PDU-8 units can be connected on the same CAN bus network, which lets installers mount the individual PDUs closer to the subsystems they are controlling, which simplifies wiring, reduces weight, and increases reliability.
