The Action Clutch Stage 3 (1MS) Clutch Kit is engineered for high-performance applications on Subaru WRX STI models from 2004 to 2021 equipped with the 2.5L EJ257 turbocharged engine. Featuring a heavy-duty single diaphragm pressure plate, this kit offers increased holding capacity, providing 170% more clamping force than factory setups, ideal for street use and occasional drag, road, or drift racing. The reinforced drive straps enhance durability, ensuring reliable operation under demanding conditions.
The kit includes a Sprung MIBA Ceramic disc, available in 4 or 6 puck configurations, designed for quicker engagement and responsive power transfer. While the ceramic clutch introduces some chatter after proper break-in, it delivers exceptional performance and control for enthusiasts seeking to elevate their vehicle’s capabilities. Action Clutch’s commitment to safety is evident with fully enclosed spring retainers, preventing spring pop-out and protecting your drivetrain investment.
Each clutch kit undergoes rigorous quality checks by experienced engineers with over 60 years of collective expertise, ensuring consistent and safe performance. This comprehensive setup is tailored for Subaru enthusiasts aiming for maximum control, reliability, and durability without compromise. Whether you’re upgrading for daily driving or light racing, the Action Clutch Stage 3 (1MS) Clutch Kit provides a robust solution for demanding driving conditions, backed by quality and engineering excellence.
