2015+ WRX/STI Muffler Deletes

More goes into the design of a car’s muffler than one may think. When it comes to aftermarket mufflers it is important to make sure it is compatible and resistant to your car. Mufflers can also be replaced by something, like an axle-back or Catback. But what’s the difference, and which is best for your car?

Buy Remark Performance Parts Online Today

Put simply, an axle-back replaces the muffler from the axle, working back. A Catback replaces the exhaust system, including the muffler, from the catalytic converter back. Remark specializes in creating exhaust systems that produce the desired note while also working to improve the driving experience. One isn’t compromised for the other. Remark makes everything in their factories, using high-quality materials like stainless steel and titanium. They have designed a multitude of Catbacks and axle backs.

Consider the Remark 2015+ WRX/STI 4 inch muffler delete. The 2015+ WRX/STI muffler delete is an axle-back, and this muffler delete easily installs to either the OEM or Remark mid-Y-pipe. The 2015+ WRX/STI muffler delete weighs significantly less than the OEM muffler. The 4-inch tips are in a quad slant cut style. It has multiple different options for a tip, allowing for a little extra customization.

Now compare the 2015+ WRX/STI 4 inch muffler delete to 2017-2019 Remark Catback Exhaust Spec I with Single Black Chrome Tip Cover for Honda Civic Type R. This Catback is a Spec 1 exhaust system, which was manufactured specifically for racing. It, along with the Spec 2 and Spec 3 line from Remark for the Civic Type R, all have multiple different options for tips too. Aside from producing a deep note, a Catback provides more power than an axle-back. However, they are slightly more expensive as a result. It’s only worth what you pay if those extras are what you’re looking for.

Remarkable Customer Service, Always

Determining which muffler delete is best for your car depends on what you’re looking for in an exhaust system, as well as the type of vehicle you own. If you’re shopping online it’s easy to be overwhelmed by the many options available to you. Rather than stress over finding the best pick, let the best in the business find it for you.
