MAPerformance

The best MAPerformance parts for a WRX or Honda are the brand's catted downpipes and catback exhausts, built for the 2015-2021 and 2022-2026 WRX plus Honda's turbocharged Civic family (Civic 1.5T, Civic Si, and Civic Type R). These are the core of the catalog: exhaust and airflow hardware engineered for specific turbo platforms, each with a vehicle-specific part number. If you are shopping by fitment, confirm your exact year and model on the product page before ordering.

MAPerformance built its name on WRX and Honda turbo hardware. Its downpipes — like the MAPerformance 22-26 WRX catted downpipe and the MAP 15-21 WRX MT catted downpipe Rev 4 — replace the restrictive factory downpipe, the biggest single bottleneck in a turbo exhaust system. Catback systems, such as the MAPerformance 22-26 Civic Si catback exhaust, finish the exhaust path from the downpipe back with a deeper tone. Beyond exhaust, the collection covers L15 Honda engine hardware like timing tensioner and cam holder covers for the 2016-2021 Civic 1.5T, 2017-2021 Civic Si, 2017-2021 CR-V, and 2016-2021 Accord 1.5T (all fitments from the product titles).

Everything on this page comes from one brand: MAPerformance. To compare across brands, browse our GrimmSpeed downpipe / J-pipe collection and the catback collection, or read our guide to the best exhaust for Subaru WRX before you buy.

Do MAPerformance downpipes require a tune?

Most owners install a downpipe alongside a tune, since changing the downpipe alters how the turbo breathes. Confirm the right approach for your setup with your tuner before buying.

Will a catted downpipe pass emissions?

Catted downpipes keep a catalytic converter in the system, but emissions rules vary by state and county. Check your local requirements — nothing on this page guarantees compliance.

Are the L15 tensioner and cam holder covers power adders?

No. They are service and dress-up hardware for the 1.5T Honda engine family. They solve maintenance and fitment needs, not horsepower.

How do I pick the right downpipe?

Match the part number to your exact year, model, and transmission — for example, the Rev 4 catted downpipe is listed for 2015-2021 WRX models with a manual transmission. When in doubt, check your year and model against the product title.
