Kraftwerks Superchargers

The best supercharger for your Honda S2000, Subaru BRZ/86, Mazda Miata NC, or 8th/9th-gen Civic is the one that bolts on without cutting up the car: a complete kit with a properly sized centrifugal blower, a proven belt drive, and tuning that keeps the engine safe on pump gas. KraftWerks kits are built around exactly that formula — compact C30-series centrifugal superchargers paired with vehicle-specific bracketry, belt systems, and the calibration to run them.

KraftWerks is a forced-induction specialist whose catalog centers on bolt-on centrifugal supercharger systems for popular sport compacts. Its kits replace the stock intake tract with a belt-driven compressor that builds boost progressively with RPM, giving the linear, predictable power delivery that suits daily-driven track cars. The kits in this collection cover the Honda S2000 AP1, 2006–2012 Mazda Miata (NC), 2006–2011 Honda Civic, and 2018–2020 Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S/Toyota 86 — with select kits including tuning in the box, which removes the biggest headache of forced induction.

Beyond complete kits, KraftWerks supports the cars long after the install: this collection also carries replacement serpentine and cog belts, tensioner assemblies, and 90mm cogged pulleys for the S2000 and BRZ platforms. When a belt stretches or a tensioner wears, you can service the system with genuine replacement parts instead of hunting for generic equivalents.

Supporting mods matter when you add boost. Pair a supercharger with a larger intercooler or better charge cooling, engine management such as Cobb Tuning solutions, and supporting fuel and intake parts from AEM, HKS, and GrimmSpeed. Check your exact year and model before ordering, and confirm tuning coverage for your ECU.

Do I need a tune with a KraftWerks supercharger kit?

Yes. Some kits include tuning; where they don't, a professional tune matched to your fuel and supporting mods is required for safe operation. Never run boost on a stock map.

How hard is the installation?

KraftWerks kits are designed as bolt-on systems, but installation still requires mechanical experience — plan for a full day with proper tools, and have the car tuned or flashed before driving hard.

Will a supercharger hurt reliability?

Centrifugal superchargers are among the least stressful ways to add power when the kit is complete and the tune is conservative. Stay on top of belt and tensioner maintenance with the replacement parts in this collection.

Do the kits fit the FA20 in my 2018–2020 BRZ?

Yes — the BRZ/FRS/FT86 kit is application-specific for those chassis. Match the kit's stated year range to your car and check your year and model before ordering.
