3D MAXpider

What are the best all-weather floor liners for a Subaru WRX? 3D MAXpider Kagu floor liners are one of the most popular choices: each set is 3D-digitized for a specific chassis — 15-21 WRX and WRX STI, 22-26 WRX, and BRZ/GR86 included — so raised edges trap water, snow, and mud before they reach the carpet.

Kagu is 3D MAXpider's flagship all-weather line, built in three layers: a textured waterproof TPR top layer, a lightweight XPE foam core that absorbs shock and dampens noise, and the patented MAXpider anti-skid backing that grips the factory carpet without hooks or fasteners. Non-toxic materials, essentially odor-free. Most sets simply drop into place — no tools, no drilling, no adhesive, and no interference with pedal travel.

When shopping, prioritize vehicle-specific fitment (front-row vs. front-and-rear sets), a raised lip tall enough to hold slush, and a non-slip backing. Popular brands here include 3D MAXpider, with WeatherTech as the other major all-weather option.

Do 3D MAXpider Kagu mats fit my exact year and model?

Each set is cut for a specific chassis — 15-21 WRX/STI fitments are separate from 22-26 WRX sets. Match the bracketed year range on the product title to your car before ordering.

How hard are they to install?

It's a drop-in job that takes minutes: pull the factory mats and set the Kagu liners in place. No tools or fasteners required on most fitments.

Will the liners slide around while driving?

No — the MAXpider backing grips the carpet without clips, though some drivers also use the factory retention hooks for extra security.

How do I clean them?

Hose them off or wipe down with a damp cloth and mild soap. The waterproof surface doesn't absorb mud, salt, or spilled drinks, so they dry quickly and won't smell musty.
