2015-2017 WRX STI Big Brake Kits

A big brake kit replaces the calipers, rotors, and pads on your 2015-2017 WRX STI as an engineered system — the definitive solution for brake fade on track days and the foundation for consistent stopping power with added horsepower. This is not a cosmetic upgrade; it is for cars whose brakes are genuinely overheating.

Caliper piston count is the headline spec. Four-piston calipers suit aggressive street and light track use; six-piston spreads clamping force over a larger pad for better modulation and heat capacity on dedicated track cars. Eight-piston is for heavy, high-power builds. More pistons is not automatically better — match the kit to your tire grip, because brakes can only work as hard as the tires allow.

Rotor size must clear your wheels — verify the minimum wheel diameter in the kit specs before buying. Two-piece rotors save unsprung weight and handle heat cycles better than one-piece; slotted faces help pad bite and gas evacuation while drilled faces are primarily cosmetic on modern pads.

Big brake kits change brake bias and pedal feel; bed the pads properly and expect a short adaptation period. Every kit here is confirmed for the 2015-2017 WRX STI — filter by piston count and front/rear position.
