2004-2007 WRX STI Control Arms

Control arms locate the wheels on your 2004-2007 WRX STI's suspension, and aftermarket arms solve two problems: worn factory bushings that make alignment wander, and the need for alignment adjustability that the stock arms do not provide — especially camber adjustment on lowered cars.

Front versus rear arms do different jobs. Front lower control arms typically add caster and camber adjustability for sharper turn-in; rear arms provide the camber and toe adjustment needed to get a lowered WRX STI back into proper alignment spec. Identify which end of the car needs help before buying.

Bushing choice defines the driving experience. Spherical bearings give the most precise handling with the most noise and maintenance. Polyurethane is the street compromise — much tighter than rubber, far quieter than spherical. Rubber is only for restoration to stock feel.

Aftermarket arms change alignment geometry, so a professional alignment is required immediately after install. Every arm here is confirmed for the 2004-2007 WRX STI chassis — filter by position to find what you need.

Inspect the rest of the suspension while the arms are off: ball joints, tie rod ends, and subframe bushings are all easier to service with the arms out, and worn components elsewhere will mask the improvement new arms provide. Replace hardware that shows corrosion — suspension bolts on a 2004-2007 car have lived a hard life.
