2002-2007 WRX Coilovers

Coilovers replace your 2002-2007 WRX's struts and springs as a matched, height-adjustable unit — the proper way to lower the car and improve handling together rather than compromising the factory dampers with lowering springs alone. Every kit in this collection is valved and sprung specifically for the 2002-2007 WRX chassis weight and suspension geometry.

Damping adjustability is the main price driver. Non-adjustable coilovers are set by the manufacturer for a balance of comfort and control — fine if you will set ride height once and never touch it again. Single-adjustable kits let you tune rebound and compression together for street comfort versus track stiffness. Double-adjustable separates the two for serious track work. Do not pay for adjustability you will never use; do not buy non-adjustable if you plan to track the car.

Spring rates tell you what the kit is actually for. Street-oriented rates preserve ride quality on rough roads; aggressive rates reduce body roll but punish daily driving. Check whether the kit includes camber plates, and confirm the drop range keeps your alignment within a correctable window — extreme drops on a WRX destroy handling rather than improving it.

Budget for a professional alignment immediately after install. Use the damping filter to match the kit to how you actually drive your 2002-2007 WRX.
