Description

The GrimmSpeed 4-piston brake caliper kit for 340mm rotors in gunmetal gray, part GRM.1170.1.GRY, for the 2002-2021 Subaru WRX and 2004-2021 Subaru WRX STI. Forged 6061-T6 aluminum 2-piece caliper bodies with 44mm primary / 41mm secondary pistons deliver even pad pressure and reduced taper wear — a true fixed-caliper upgrade designed specifically for the Subaru platform, at a price far below a Brembo swap.

  • Forged 6061-T6 aluminum 4-piston fixed calipers, hard anodized, gunmetal gray finish
  • 44mm primary / 41mm secondary pistons — even pad pressure, reduced taper wear
  • Type 3 hard anodized vented pistons for superior thermal management
  • Designed for 340mm rotors; works with commonly available Subaru OEM and STI rotors
  • Vehicle-specific billet 4140 steel caliper brackets — no knuckle swaps or custom adapters
  • Full hardware kit included (bridge bolts, banjo bolts, crush washers, guide pins, springs); compatible with factory brake lines
  • Pad compatibility: FMSI D1001 or D968 (varies by application)
  • Part GRM.1170.1.GRY (fitment per retailer listing: 2002-2021 WRX/STI 340mm platform)
