The Turbosmart OPR T40 (TS-0801-1001) is a patent-pending oil pressure regulator for ball-bearing turbochargers. Unlike a traditional restrictor, it regulates feed pressure to a fixed 40psi without reducing flow, so it takes the guesswork out of restrictor sizing and keeps the oil going to the turbocharger within the manufacturer's tolerances - preventing compressor or turbine stage oil leaking and smoking.
