The DBA 5000 Series XS brake rotor is a two-piece direct replacement rotor for the Lotus Elise (front or rear). It combines a high carbon cast iron ring with an aerospace-grade aluminium hat (T6061-T6), reducing unsprung weight, allowing uniform radial disc expansion and minimising heat transfer from the disc to the hub. The XS cross-drilled and slotted surface design facilitates the exit of friction dust and gases for a quieter, more responsive pedal feel.
