Description

The COBB Black Front Mount Intercooler Kit replaces the overworked factory top-mount intercooler on the 2015–2021 WRX with a large bar-and-plate core and efficient aluminum charge piping. The heat-dissipating black core, integrated mounting provision, and included fluid components provide a clean installation without bumper-cover cutting.

  • 24 × 11 × 4-inch black bar-and-plate core
  • 2.5-inch mandrel-bent aluminum piping with wrinkle-black powder coat
  • Integrated provision for factory tow hook or license-plate relocation bracket
  • No bumper-cover cutting required; minor under-tray trimming required
  • Factory gussets remain in place
  • Designed for COBB Big SF Intake and Airbox; compatibility with other intakes is not confirmed
  • Includes COBB coolant overflow tank and washer-fluid filler neck
