2008-2014 Subaru WRX Interior Parts

The Infotainment Fix is the Big One

If you only do one thing to a GR chassis interior, make it the head unit. The factory system in these cars shipped before wireless CarPlay, before Android Auto, and before touchscreens got usable. An Idoing Android head unit replaces all of it: a responsive screen, wireless phone integration, proper navigation, and a backup camera input if you want one. For a car you drive every day, nothing else in this catalog changes the ownership experience more.

Installation is more involved than a shift knob but well within DIY range with a dash kit and harness adapter. Most units drop into the factory opening without cutting, and the wiring is plug-and-play through the adapter.

Worth pairing with new speakers, especially if yours are original. Fifteen-year-old paper cones aren’t doing your new head unit any favors.

Touchpoints, Lighting, and the Small Stuff

After the head unit, it’s the things your hands and eyes land on constantly. A Perrin weighted shift knob changes how every gear change feels, especially on a car with some miles on the shifter. Pair it with a short shifter, and the whole drivetrain tightens up. Perrin pedal sets add grip for heel-toe work and clean up a set that’s been worn smooth.

Lighting is one of the cheapest Subaru WRX interior mods. Morimoto LED interior bulbs replace the dim, yellowed factory units across the dome, map, and trunk: no flicker, no error codes, and a cabin that instantly reads newer.

Then JDMuscle trim pieces, floor liners that survive actual winters, and the storage inserts that make the console useful. These Subaru WRX interior mods aren’t dramatic alone, but combined they’re the difference between a tired cabin and a sorted one.
