GrimmSpeed is proud to provide the most complete and easy to use 3-Port Electronic Boost Solenoid for available for all turbo Subarus. Unlike your OEM 2-port solenoid, the GrimmSpeed BCS will allow for extremely high resolution boost control, providing your tuner with the hardware he needs to safely tune your car with rock solid boost levels. Using our solenoid, you are able to spool your turbo quicker and maintain tight control of boost levels throughout your power curve. In addition, our solenoid features a balanced valve to withstand up to 120psi without a slowing response by even a single millisecond.

Design

Revolutionizing the Subaru boost solenoid market, we have created model specific install brackets that allow you to install our Boost Control Solenoid with a factory fit and finish. To top it all off, our solenoid also uses a Subaru wiring harness connector so that you can simply unplug your OEM solenoid and plug ours in. No more cutting and crimping OEM wires together!

The solenoid itself is one of a kind. MAC manufactures pneumatic control products for the largest commercial operations in the world, where every minute of downtime can cost tens of thousands of dollars, so we worked closely with their engineers to design this unique valve, incorporating proprietary features, exclusive to GrimmSpeed, that make our solenoid the toughest on the market. Those features include special seals to protect it from moisture and high temp coils to keep response times at 6 milliseconds or less, even in extreme heat. We have worked with many of the top tuners in the country to ensure that our solenoid works safely with the factory Subaru ECU.

Materials

Our special solenoid features, combined with our factory-fit brackets, ensure that this complete boost control solution will withstand the harsh heat and vibration of your engine bay. The Subaru harness connectors that we use include weatherproof terminal seals, carefully crimped with DELPHI equipment by our expert assembly staff. Mounting brackets are laser cut and then black zinc plated to ensure corrosion resistance. Each bracket has threaded PEM nuts pressed in for a solid connection with no risk of stripping threads. Each low profile 1/8" NPT nickel plated fitting is installed in the proper orientation using a 120psi thread sealant for a clean, compact, robust installation.

You don't need to take our word for it, trust your tuner. When it comes to boost control systems, be sure to consult with your tuner to ensure that you're building a setup that they're confident tuning. The good news is that with well over 25,000 units in use on some of the fastest Subarus in the world, with the GrimmSpeed Boost Control Solenoid, you'll be in great company. As with any change to your boost control system, upgrading to a 3-port solenoid does require tuning.

Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. Please send an email to sales@jdmuscleusa.com or use our return portal located at the top of the page to set up a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Giftcards
  • Special-ordered items, including anything custom products

 

If you choose to email us to initiate a return, please ensure to include the following information in your email:

  • Your order number
  • Item(s) that you wish to return
  • Reason for returning

Depending on your method of payment, transaction fees might not be refundable which ranges between 2.3% - 6% of the order value. Note this is charged by a third-party payment provider, not us. You may receive a full refund if you choose to receive a store credit instead.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Any item not in its original condition/ is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

 

Some manufacturers would charge a restocking fee ranging from 10% - 30% of the original order value. Below is a list of some but now all of them, please be mindful when placing the order / considering a return:

  • JDMuscle 15%
  • PLM 20%

 

Cancellation

Please ensure you have contacted us on availability before placing an order. All cancellations could be subject to 2.3% - 6% fee to cover transaction costs charged by third-party payment providers. You have 7 days to cancel an order, once the order has been processed(item packaged/ tracking number has been created), the cancellation will not be allowed but you may contact us for a return request if the item is eligible for return.

Special-ordered items cannot be canceled.


Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-10 business days(depending on the payment provider). The restocking fee might be applicable as noted in the return section.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

Once you have received an email/text from us stating the refund has been processed, at this stage, it's completely out of our control but depends on the payment providers to decide when the refund will show up in your bank. As noted, depending on the payment provider the process can take up to 10 business days(usually 3-5). If you haven’t received a refund yet, please first check your bank statement. A lot of times instead of a new line showing a reversal charge/credit, the payment would just disappear from your pending section.


Contact your credit card company/financing company you used, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted but reaching out might help expedite the process.
